Not that i'm counting.....

but today is 90 days since the Hague Unit of National Benefits Center received our I-800A application. Do I want to rush to the mailbox today in hopes that something will be there? Of course. Do I think that something will actually be there? Of course not.....

But, with anticipation, I will rush to the mailbox……

"One Step At A Time"

While driving into work this morning I heard this song "One Step At A Time" by Jordan Sparks. While listening to the song, as cheesy as it sounds, I felt as though this song was written for me, so I thought I would share it with you:

Why does everything have to take so long...

Well, our agency contacted NBC to find out the status of our case and was kind enough to provide us with their response, which is:

The Kanaskie family’s application was received in the Hague Unit on 7/31/08. We are currently processing cases in the order received and work to process cases in 90 days.

When our case worker provided us with NBC's response, she said:

Below is a response from NBC regarding your case. Unfortunately, since they are reporting that it is currently taking 90 days to process a case and since your application was not received by their unit until on 7/31/08, I can not re-inquire until 10/31/08. I have marked my calendar and if I do not have your decision by then I will inquire again.
